Keshawa Cabins offers up to four dog-friendly cabins in Illinois less than 10 minutes from Hungry Rock and Matthiessen State Park. Plus, the Keshawa cabin is dog heaven, with plenty of room to walk your dog. If your dog’s lifestyle and behavior conforms to the policies below, we welcome you and your dog to Kishawo.

All four of our cabins offer a spacious studio feel with queen beds and pull-out futons in the living area. All rooms can accommodate 3 adults or 2 adults/2 children. These popular rooms fill up quickly, so book as far in advance as possible, especially during the summer months. Bathrooms in the Comanche, Winnebago and Zonta cabins all feature huge jetted tubs for a luxurious feel. Our kennels are the most affordable dog kennels because they have a standard tub/shower. We only allow guests with dogs to book these cabins unless other cabins can accommodate your group.

Please add $25 (plus tax) to your order per dog. You must add the number of pets when ordering online. Sorry, we only allow dogs in our cabin near Hungry Rock. A maximum of two dogs are allowed per cabin and a one-night fee per dog is charged.

There are 17 cabins on Kishawu’s property, unfortunately not all of them are dog friendly. Many people are afraid of dogs or have severe allergies. If you have to spend extra time cleaning your cabin because of your dog, your card will be charged.
